Opening of the Buddha Statue 2026
The mere sight of the Supreme Sammāsambuddha brings peace and serenity to the mind. With the aspiration of recollecting the Lord Buddha's sublime virtues and progressing on the path beyond saṃsāra, this Buddha Statue, devotedly crafted by the disciples of the Lord Buddha, was unveiled at the sacred grounds of Ingiriya Jethavanarama Buddhist Monastery on the Poson Full Moon Poya Day, 29 June 2026.
May all who venerate it rejoice in this meritorious deed and cultivate the causes for Nibbāna.
